Lahore — Pink Ribbon Pakistan, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) at Higher Education Commission (HEC) takes great pride in unveiling the winners of the Pink Ribbon HEC Youth Awards for Breast Cancer Awareness held during PINKtober 2022. The awards celebrate the remarkable endeavors of around 185 colleges and universities, reaching an impressive 192,780 students. These initiatives mark a significant step forward in fostering awareness and understanding about breast cancer among the youth.

Exemplary Achievements in PINKtober 2022
Setting an inspiring example, Government College University Faisalabad and Government Graduate College for Women Shadbagh jointly secured the 1st position, demonstrating their dedication to spreading knowledge about breast cancer. Habib University and Fatima Jinnah Dental College shared the 2nd position, underlining their commitment to making a positive impact. University of Education Township Campus Lahore and Government Graduate College for Women Baghbanpura claimed the 3rd position, showcasing their significance in advocating for breast health.
Recognizing Excellence in Advocacy
The Pink Ribbon HEC Youth Awards also applauded institutions that went the extra mile to organize impactful events. The Women University Multan and Government Graduate College for Women Gulberg received the Outstanding Event Award, showcasing their dedication in creating awareness events that resonated with their communities. Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology Karachi and National College of Arts Lahore received the Best Engagement Award, signifying their outstanding efforts in engaging their students.
Institutions that demonstrated unwavering commitment received Encouragement Awards. These include Women Institute of Learning and Rehabilitation Sciences Abbottabad, Department of Sociology at the University of Karachi, M. Islam Medical & Dental College Gujranwala, and Bashir Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad.
The Recognition Award was conferred upon Nazar College of Pharmacy, DAKSON Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad, and Women University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir Bagh, highlighting their valuable contributions. The Volunteer Dedication Award was presented to Lahore University of Management Sciences and Lahore American School for their dedicated support.
